## Comment to DM, from your clinic Reel to a first visit

Zoe has a new kitten and needs a vet near home. She finds your Reel from the clinic the evening she brings the kitten home.

1. Your Reel
   ### Your Reel shows a first visit at the clinic
Your team meets Coco the puppy on her first visit. In the caption, you ask new owners to comment NEWPET.
2. The comment
   ### Zoe comments NEWPET
NEWPET is a neutral keyword, so her public comment says nothing about health. Leo's and Ava's comments get no DM.
3. The DM
   ### Zoe gets your booking link and phone number
Zoe gets your message and a Register your pet button on her first night with the kitten. The DM also gives your phone number for sick pets.
4. Your booking tool
   ### Zoe books Monday 9:20 am
Your booking tool opens on her phone when she taps the button. Zoe registers her kitten and picks a time, and your tool saves it.

## Instagram auto-reply for new pets, opening hours and vaccines

Four automations a vet clinic can run. Each one uses a neutral word, so comments say nothing about health.

- Reel comments · NEWPET
New owners who comment NEWPET get your booking link and your phone number for sick pets. Comments are public, so use a neutral word, never an illness.
  [How comment auto-reply works →](https://creatorflow.so/use-case/auto-respond-comments)
- Keyword DMs · HOURS
Someone sends you HOURS and gets your opening hours and phone numbers. At night, owners read the emergency number you wrote.
  [How keyword DMs work →](https://creatorflow.so/use-case/auto-reply-dms)
- Story replies · VACCINE
Post a Story when you open a vaccine afternoon. Owners who reply VACCINE get the booking link for that afternoon.
  [How Story replies work →](https://creatorflow.so/use-case/story-replies)
- Post comments · PRICES
Owners get your price list by DM. Email Gate, on Pro and Growth, asks for their email first. With no answer in about 15 minutes, it sends the list anyway.

## Instagram DM automation that answers pet owners in seconds

By hand, owners wait until reception ends the call. With CreatorFlow, they register their pet the same night.

By hand

- *✕*A new owner asks about a first visit while reception holds the phone.
- *✕*At 10 pm, someone asks if you are open on Sunday. Nobody sees it until 8 am.
- *✕*You open a vaccine afternoon, then send the link to each owner by hand.

With CreatorFlow

- Your booking link arrives while reception stays on the call.
- Owners who send HOURS get your hours and emergency number at any time.
- One Story sends the vaccine link to owners who reply.

## What CreatorFlow can and cannot do for vet clinics

Check these before your next new pet Reel.

What you can set

- Give each visit its own keyword: NEWPET for first visits, VACCINE for vaccines.
- Send your booking link, opening hours and price list as up to 3 link buttons.
- Answer a keyword someone sends you in a DM, such as HOURS.
- Answer Story replies, so one Story can share a vaccine afternoon.
- Run one workspace for each branch with its own Instagram account.

What to know first

- A DM is not a vet visit. CreatorFlow gives no medical advice, so never ask for symptoms or health details by DM.
- CreatorFlow does not answer emergencies or book visits. Put your phone number and your after-hours clinic in your DMs.
- People who do not follow you find the DM in Message Requests.
- Instagram allows 200 DMs an hour. Extra DMs wait for the next hour.
- Each automation sends one DM, with one optional step before it. There are no follow-up messages.
- CreatorFlow works with Instagram only. It cannot send a DM when someone follows you.

Your account

- CreatorFlow is a Meta-approved Tech Provider.
- It uses the official Instagram API. There is no browser extension.
- You connect Instagram on Instagram's own screen. CreatorFlow does not see your password.
- It only sends DMs to people who contacted you first.

## Instagram DM automation questions from vet clinics

Short answers about visits, pet owners and your account.

**Does CreatorFlow book the appointment for me?**

No. CreatorFlow sends your booking link by DM, and the owner books in your booking tool. CreatorFlow does not see your schedule, and it does not confirm or move a visit.

**Can it answer a message about a sick pet?**

No. CreatorFlow sends only the words you wrote, and it gives no medical advice. A message about a sick pet stays in your Instagram inbox. Put your phone number in each DM.

**Can owners send pet records or lab results by DM?**

They should not. Instagram DMs are not a secure place for pet or owner details. Collect records in your own booking or intake form. Advertising rules for animal health services differ by country, so check yours before you post prices.

**Which keyword should we use?**

A neutral one, such as NEWPET, HOURS or PRICES. Comments are public, so never use a keyword that names an illness. You can add up to 20 keywords to one automation.

**Does it connect to my practice software?**

No. CreatorFlow does not connect to vet practice software, so pet records and schedules do not change. Any online booking link works. Paste it into the DM, and it appears as a button.

**Can my vets, nurses and reception team use it?**

Not with their own logins. CreatorFlow has no team seats, and each account has one Google login. Each branch with its own Instagram account gets its own workspace. Free has 1, Pro has 2 and Growth has 5.

**Is it safe for my clinic's Instagram account?**

CreatorFlow is a Meta-approved Tech Provider and sends messages through Instagram's official API. You do not share your password. It only replies to pet owners who contacted your clinic first. Instagram decides how it applies its rules, so no tool can promise your account will never be limited.

**How much does Instagram DM automation cost for a vet clinic?**

CreatorFlow is free for 500 DMs a month, with comment, Story reply and keyword DM automations. Pro costs $15 a month for 5,000 DMs and adds Email Gate, link tracking and CSV export. Growth costs $30 a month for 10,000 DMs and 5 workspaces. Every plan includes unlimited automations.

## First visits from your clinic Reels

Ask new owners to comment NEWPET on your next clinic Reel. Put your booking link and phone number in the DM. Owners can register a new pet at night, when reception is closed.
