## Instagram DM analytics for every automation and post

CreatorFlow is an Instagram DM automation tool built on Meta's official API. Its analytics show your DMs sent, link clicks and leads. You also see each automation's click-through rate, the posts that got keyword comments and where the clicks come from.

- Automation performance
  ### The automations that bring the most clicks
Each automation shows its DMs sent and the percentage of people who clicked your link. Keep the best ones and change the keyword or message on the rest.
- Content performance
  ### Posts where people comment your keyword
See total comments, keyword comments and the trigger rate for each post. It shows which posts make people ask for your link.
- Geographic distribution
  ### Link clicks by country and city
See the top countries and cities behind your clicks. It helps when you ship to some countries only, or post in two languages.

## Clicks by post, hour and place

You see which post sends people to your link, and when they click.

1. 01
   ### Know which post gets clicks
Each automation shows DMs sent and link clicks. You see which Reel sends people to your shop and which one does not.
2. 02
   ### See when people click
On Pro and Growth, the hourly chart shows when people tap your link. Compare Reels you posted at different hours.
3. 03
   ### See where people click from
On Pro and Growth, clicks by country and city show where the people who click live. Use it for shipping and for the language of your next post.

## Ways to use your Instagram DM analytics

Four checks that take a few minutes and change what you post next.

- Two Reels, one product
  ### Compare two Reels for one product
You post two Reels about the same mug. The numbers show which Reel sent more DMs and got more clicks.
**Try it** Open Analytics and compare the two automations for DMs sent and link clicks.
- A weekly check
  ### Make more of the Reels that get clicks
Every Monday you look at the automations with the most clicks. Your next posts follow the ones at the top.
**Try it** Open Analytics and start with the automations that bring the most clicks.
- Agency reports
  ### A monthly report for each client
Each client's workspace has its own numbers. You read DMs sent, clicks and leads for the report.
**Try it** Switch to the client's workspace, then open Analytics.
- A DM that did not arrive
  ### See which DMs failed
The activity log marks your last 50 DMs as Sent or Failed. It keeps only 50, so check it right after a busy post.
**Try it** Open Analytics, then the activity log, and read the Failed rows first.

## Use your Instagram DM analytics in 3 steps

## What CreatorFlow analytics shows

The numbers come from your automations. Your shop or website keeps its own numbers for sales.

Analytics shows

- DMs sent, link clicks and leads for your account
- DMs and click-through rate for each automation
- Keyword comments and trigger rate for each post
- Hourly and daily charts for DMs and link clicks
- Top countries and cities for your clicks
- Your last 50 DMs, each marked Sent or Failed

Analytics does not show

- Orders or sales on your website: CreatorFlow counts the click, your shop counts the sale
- Tests between two messages
- Two Instagram accounts in one view: each workspace has its own numbers

## Instagram DM analytics FAQ

What CreatorFlow counts, what each number means and what is on each plan.

**What does CreatorFlow analytics show?**

DMs sent, link clicks and leads collected, each with the change from the last period. You also see each automation's DMs and click-through rate, each post's keyword comments and trigger rate, hourly charts and where your clicks come from.

**Does CreatorFlow track link clicks?**

Yes, on Pro and Growth. Add your link with + Add Link in the DM step, and CreatorFlow counts each click on it. Link tracking is not on the Free plan.

**Is analytics on the Free plan?**

Yes, basic analytics. Link tracking and the advanced view with clicks by country and city are on Pro and Growth.

**What is the trigger rate?**

It is the percentage of a post's comments that had your keyword and started the automation. A high trigger rate means many people on that post asked for your link.

**Why did a DM fail?**

A DM can fail when the person does not follow you, when Instagram's limit of 200 DMs an hour is reached, or when the 24-hour reply window has ended. The Activity Log shows each failed DM.

**What time range does analytics show?**

The last 7 days, compared with the 7 days before. Change it in the date picker at the top right.

**Can I see analytics for each Instagram account?**

Yes. Each workspace has its own analytics, so the numbers of two accounts never mix.
