FOR INSTAGRAM CREATORS AND BRANDS
Send your link to commenters you missed
Rewind sends your DM to people who commented before your automation was live. Your Reel went viral overnight, and 300 people commented GUIDE. Create the automation in the morning, run Rewind, and CreatorFlow sends them the packing guide.

Reach Instagram commenters from the last 7 days
CreatorFlow is an Instagram DM automation tool built on Meta's official API. Rewind sends your Comment to DM message to people who commented on a post in the last 7 days, before the automation was running.
Comments from the last 7 days
People you missed still get the packing guide
Rewind reads the comments on the post from the last 7 days. The people who wrote them get the DM your automation sends.
No double DMs
Nobody gets the same DM twice
Rewind skips anyone who already got the DM. Run it again on the same post and it only reaches the people it missed.
Instagram's hourly limit
Every DM sent inside Instagram's limit
Instagram allows 200 automated DMs an hour. Rewind stays inside that limit, so a big Rewind sends its DMs over a few hours.
DMs for the comments you missed
Comments often arrive before your automation is ready. Rewind gives those people the DM they asked for.
- 01
Comments you missed still count
People who commented GUIDE last night still want the guide. Rewind sends it to them, not only to the people who comment next.
- 02
Run Rewind the same day
Rewind reaches comments from the last 7 days. Instagram can block replies to comments older than a day, so run it soon.
- 03
No second DM from Rewind
Rewind skips anyone who already got this DM from the automation.
Ways to use Rewind on Instagram comments
Four moments when Rewind sends the DMs you would have missed.
A Reel that grew overnight
300 comments before breakfast
Your Reel grew while you slept. People commented GUIDE, but no automation was live yet.
Try it Build the automation for that Reel in the morning, then run Rewind. The people who commented get the guide.
A launch post you set up late
The post went live before the DM
You posted the launch at 9 am and built the automation at 11 am. Two hours of comments asked for the link.
Try it Open Rewind and pick the automation for that post.
A paused automation
Comments while it was paused
You paused it for two days to change the link. People still commented the keyword.
Try it Turn the automation back on. Then open Rewind and pick it.
Moving from another tool
Comments from the day you switched
You turned off your old tool this morning. Comments from the hours before your CreatorFlow automation got no DM.
Try it Build the automation in CreatorFlow, then run Rewind on it.
Use Rewind on missed Instagram comments in 3 steps
Rewind needs a Comment to DM automation on the post, active or paused. Rewind is on the Pro and Growth plans.
- 1
Set up the automation on the post
Open My Content > Posts & Reels, find the Reel and click Set up Automation. Add your keyword and your DM.
- 2
Open Rewind and pick the automation

- 3
Run it and watch the progress
Rewind scans the comments and shows its progress. It sends the DMs a little at a time, inside Instagram's hourly limit.
What Rewind can and cannot reach
Read this before you run Rewind, so you know who gets the DM.
Rewind works with
- Comments from the last 7 days on posts and Reels you own
- Comment to DM automations, active or paused
- One DM per person: it skips anyone who already got it
- Your monthly DMs: each Rewind DM counts like any automated DM
Rewind does not reach
- Comments older than 7 days
- Story reply and DM keyword automations
- Collaborative posts: Instagram sends their comments only to the main author
- Many comments older than a day: Instagram's 24-hour reply window can block them

Rewind FAQ
Who Rewind reaches, what it costs and how it works with your automations.
What is Rewind in CreatorFlow?
Rewind sends your Comment to DM message to people who commented on a post before your automation was live, or while it was paused. It reaches comments from the last 7 days. It never messages someone who already got the DM.
How do I DM people who already commented on my post?
Set up a Comment-to-DM automation on the post, open Rewind in the sidebar and pick that automation. Rewind sends your DM to the people who commented in the last 7 days.
Can Rewind reach comments older than 7 days?
No. Rewind reaches comments from the last 7 days, and nothing older. Instagram's 24-hour reply window can also block older comments inside those 7 days. The newest comments are the most likely to get the DM.
Will Rewind DM someone twice?
No. Rewind never sends the DM again to someone who already got it. If a large post ran in batches and some people were missed, run Rewind again on the same post.
Which plans include Rewind?
Pro and Growth. Rewind is not on the Free plan. DMs sent by Rewind count toward your monthly DMs, the same as any other automated DM.
Can I use Rewind after moving from another tool?
Yes. Disconnect the other tool first, because one Instagram account connects to one automation tool at a time. Then set up the automation in CreatorFlow and run Rewind for the comments from the last 7 days.
Does Rewind work on Story replies or DMs?
No. Rewind works with Comment to DM automations only, active or paused. Story reply and DM keyword automations are not eligible.
