What CreatorFlow can and cannot do for accounting firms

Check these before your first automation.

What you can set

  • Give bookkeeping, payroll and year-end posts their own keyword and link. Automations are unlimited on every plan.
  • Put your checklist and your fee list in one DM, as two link buttons.
  • Answer a keyword someone sends you in a DM, such as FEES.
  • Change the checklist link each year, or pause the automation after year-end.
  • Export your contacts as a CSV file.

What to know first

  • You write the messages, so check them against the advertising rules of your profession.
  • CreatorFlow does not answer questions. A person at your firm replies in the same chat.
  • People who do not follow you find the DM in Message Requests.
  • Instagram limits DMs per hour. CreatorFlow sends the rest later, and some may not arrive.
  • Each automation sends one DM, with one optional step before it. There are no follow-up messages.
  • CreatorFlow works with Instagram only. It cannot send a DM when someone follows you.

Your account

  • CreatorFlow is a Meta-approved Tech Provider.
  • It uses the official Instagram API. There is no browser extension.
  • You connect Instagram on Instagram's own screen. CreatorFlow does not see your password.
  • It only sends DMs to people who contacted you first.

Can CreatorFlow answer a client's accounting question?

No. It sends only the message you wrote when someone uses your keyword. It does not read questions. A person at your firm replies in the same chat.

What if someone sends bank details or a tax number in the DM?

CreatorFlow does not answer it. You see the message in your Instagram inbox and reply yourself. In your DM, ask people not to send private data in the chat.

Does it work with our accounting or practice software?

No. CreatorFlow does not connect to other software. You paste your link in the DM. On Pro and Growth you can export contacts as a CSV file.

Does CreatorFlow check our messages against professional rules?

No. You write each message, so you check it. CreatorFlow makes no claim about the rules of your profession.

Can two people at the firm sign in?

No. There are no seats or roles, and each CreatorFlow account has one Google sign-in. Your staff can still reply to DMs in Instagram as usual.

Can Instagram ban our firm's account?

CreatorFlow lowers the risk, but no tool can remove it. It is a Meta-approved Tech Provider and uses the official Instagram API. It only replies to people who contacted you first.
