The most useful skills for creators are writing and marketing skills like copywriting and social from the marketingskills collection, Instagram-specific skills like the instagram-carousel-skill and the claude-ig content engine, official Anthropic document skills for lead magnets and reports, and focused skills for hooks and comment-to-DM funnels. Start with a broad marketing set plus one carousel skill, then add the rest as you need them.

Anthropic's example skills are Apache-2.0, with the document skills source-available. You only need a Claude plan that supports skills. Some makers sell paid skills, but you can cover the core creator workflows with free ones.
Most community skills install with one command using the open skills CLI, for example npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills. Anthropic's official skills install through Claude Code's plugin system. You can also clone a repository and copy the skill folder into your skills directory by hand. Most skills plan and draft content rather than publish it. A few, like moboutrig's instagram-claude-skill, connect to Meta's Graph API and can publish. To automate the comment-to-DM replies your posts earn, you use a Meta-approved tool such as CreatorFlow that runs on the official Instagram Graph API.
